Shushoku Katsudo

I started my Shushoku Katsudo today at the Tokyo Big Sight where a huge job fair was held. Thousands of students, both graduates and undergraduates, participated the event. I was overwhelmed by the number of the students.

I already have in mind the kind of job I want to do. However, it seems like job hunting this year is gotta be tough, because of the world's worsening financial crisis led by America's sub-prime loan crisis. Small and medium firms are facing financial shortage, some financial institutions have filed for bankruptcy or have been taken over by others, and many Japanese giants have slashed their profit outlooks. Under these circumstances, job hunting can get very competitive.

Well, right now I just hope that the G20 meeting can come up with a more effective policy to rescue the world's economy, and hopefully my future career.
